A Will is a document to declare in a prescribed form the intention of the person making it of matters or issues which he/she wish to take effect after his/her demise. In Malaysia it must be in written form but there is exception.
A Will can be written in any language, however, if the person making it does not know or can not read the language, then translation is need before the person making it sign on the Will. Usually, the translator's particular are also printed in the Will.
The person making it must sign the Will in the presence of two witnesses. These 2 witnesses can not be the beneficiaries or spouse of a beneficiary.
