Question on Will and Trust:- The persons named in a Will?

To write a Will, you need to name the following persons:-

1. Your Executor, The role of the Executor is to apply a document called Grant of Probate; locate the testator's assets; pay his debts and expenses and finally distribute the balance of the assets accordingly to the Will.

2. You Trustee. The role of the Trustee is to hold on trust if there is minor beneficiaries named in a Will or there is testamentary trust created in the Will whereby the testator wish the Trustee to hold on trust certain assets until certain date line or event occur.

3. Your Guardian. This is applicable if you have minor children (less then 21 years old) and when both parents have passed on.

4. Your beneficiaries. They can be minor, need a Trustee or adult or a corporation like a Charity.

It is very important that your appointed Executor and Trustee you trusted. He must be efficient and you can rely on him to administer your estate till the assets is distributed.
